"...2 years ago today, I put out my last ever cigarette at the clinic in Manchester. I can't tell you how fantastic 2 years of being free have been!!! The day itself was thoroughly engaging and enjoyable, and I knew there and then that I would never have the desire to smoke again. Many, many thanks to Rob Groves and to the whole Easyway team. I've recommended the method to loads of people since. Keep up the fantastic work!
Jon Hocking, Chester
I was at your meeting 1 month ago. I wanted to quit smoking as I'd recently found out that my mother had lung cancer.
I just want say a big thank you, I've been smoke free for a month now and will never start again.
As far as I'm concerned, it has saved my life so thank you so much
Phil Bialick, Bury
1 week since the Manchester clinic, and I am a much happier, non
smoking person. Whilst there have been a couple of times I have felt like an
old friend has disappeared, I have had no desire to actually light up.
Please, if you want to stop, just book it. There is nothing to lose at all,
and it is different to other methods you may have failed at. I have had a
crazy week at work, my children have brought their issues as usual, but at
no time have I wanted to smoke. Thank you for making me see sense!
Linsey Parkinson, Manchester
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for your hard work in the Manchester session yesterday. I was not sure what to expect, but what ever happened it really worked. I feel really upbeat about being a non-smoker today and woke up at 6am this morning feeling full of energy and able to deal with the stresses of the day ahead, which only last week had made me feel like banging my head against a brick wall. I cannot believe the difference, thanks for setting me free.
Tom Brice, Preston
This is Anna from last Sunday. Manchester. I know I'm not that far in but I wanted to text you to say thank you. I feel like I've cracked it and my life has improved 100%. Biggest smoking time was always when drunk and I'm pleased to say that despite far too much wine last night, I even stood with the only smoker in the group, and just knew I wasn't going to smoke. Turned back and came in. Quite happily. FYI I think that smoker will come to Easyway after that! I'm going to keep on keeping on and be little old me, the non smoker. It's wonderful to live without guilt and shame. Can't wait to improve my time in the Great North Run next year. Thank you very much. You do great work. Anna Nuttall, Rochdale
Just wanted to thank you guys for helping me get rid of the brainwashing once and for all!
Ryan Howarth, Heywood
I want to say a BIG thank you to you all at Easyway. Since I attended in Manchester the penny has finally dropped that it is all about drug addiction and not just smoking. I am over the moon to say that I have been nicotine free since then and I have no desire whatsoever to go back. I want to tell everyone about Easyway and I can’t understand why the NHS will not use it. Thank you again and God Bless You, Allen Carr.
Susan Kilroy, Bacup
My daughter Niki and myself attended the Manchester Clinic and we are now both non smokers. We are on day 21 and don't crave a cigarette at all. Allen Carr's method really does work. It makes you realise that kicking the habit is not hard as the NHS and goverment make you believe.
Bev Slater, Timperley
I previosuly attended an easyway clinic in Manchester (March 2007), and have been smoke free ever since.
Nicola Baker, Didsbury
I went to the clinic on Saturday 10th October @ Jurys Inn Manchester and have never looked back since. I sleep better, everythings brighter, its wonderful!!!
Jamie Hyland, Manchester
It is now coming up to a year since I quit. I had no cravings, I have lost nearly 2 stone, I now do lots of cycling and walking and I feel like a different person. The guilt and dark shadows worrying about what I was doing to my health have floated away. I now am addicted to being as healthy as possible! It's so saddening that the government doesn't stop thinking about its coffers and allow you to spread the word with GPs. Nicotine addiction is not cured by dishing out nicotine in a different "cleaner" form. I think I am happier after quitting too as I am no longer dependent around the clock on a poisonous substance literally running and ruining my life. My friends tell me I look healthier too. It's all positive! Thank you.
Rachel Rae, Wilmslow
Well I attended on Sunday and I'm so pleased to say I am a happy non smoker.
